(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On September 25, 2014 the Quinte West Street Crimes Unit along with the Quinte West Crime Unit executed a Search Warrant in relation to ongoing Break and Enter investigations.
As a result of the Search Warrants over $10,000 worth of stolen items were recovered at a home on Fish and Game Club Rd in the City of Quinte West. A male and a female party were arrested near the home.
Drew STONE 28 years old of Quinte West has been charged with 24 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, a single count of Breaching a Court Order and one count of Possession of a Schedule II substance. STONE is to appear today at The Ontario Court of Justice, 15 Bridge St West Belleville for a bail hearing.
Jamie LATHAM 29 years old of Belleville has also been charged with a 24 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and one count of Possession of a Schedule II substance.
LATHAM was released with a court date in October.
The arrests were linked to the increase in Rural Break and Enters the OPP saw in the month of September in Quinte West.
