Date: Saturday, April 12, 2014 – 9:00am
On the 11th of April 2014 at approximately 10:15pm, three unknown persons entered a north end business after the business was closed.
Prior to entering the store it is believed the suspects somehow disabled the power to the business which disabled the alarm system. The suspects then cut a whole in the rear wall and entered through the stock area of the business.
While in the business the suspects attempted to enter a safe but were unsuccesful in their attempt. They then entered the display area and removed approximately $15,000 worth of No-No hair removal products. The suspects exited the store a short time later.
Police were called the morning of the 12th of April 2014 in regards to investigating the matter. Police were able to obtain physical evidence left at the scene by the suspects. The evidence has been submitted to the forensic unit for processing and the investigation is continuing.
Police are asking anyone with information to this incident to either contact Crime Stoppers or the Barrie Police Service and provide any known information.
