Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a break and enter which occurred sometime between October 31, 2014 at 11pm and November 1st, 2014 around 2:15am at a residence on Davis Street, in the Lynhurst area, Central Elgin.
While the home owners were away the suspect(s) gained entry to the residence by prying open a patio door and once inside stole;

satellite receiver

Eastwood welder with two blue argon tanks and 50ft of welding cable
Century floor safe containing jewelry, an undisclosed amount of cash and as hockey cards – 4 Gretzky rookie cards, Yzerman, Lemieux, Sanders.
