BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE

(CALEDON, ON)- On Friday, November 8, 2013 shortly at 11:15 pm, an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 9 near Kennedy Road. During the traffic stop, the officer learned that the driver was under suspension. A further check also revealed that the driver was bound by a Recognizance order with conditions. One of the imposed conditions was that the male remain at his residence between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am except for medical emergencies or while in the presence of his surety.

As a result of the officer’s findings, Todd Christopher KURTESI, 32, of Orangeville was arrested and charged with Breach of Recognizance.

He is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date.
