(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On April 4th, 2014, at approximately 4:35am Quinte West OPP responded to the area of Byron St for the report of two male youths trying to enter vehicles.
Police searched the area and located two males matching the description. A police information check of the males showed that one of the parties was on a current court order with conditions, and at the time of the incident the conditions were not being followed.
A 19 year old Quinte West male has been charged with two counts of Breach of Probation and was released from custody with a court date in May.
The public is reminded to keep their car doors locked and valuables out of sight of would be thieves.
