On Sunday morning, an officer was on general patrol at a hotel near the downtown area when he located a vehicle from Kirkland Lake. The vehicle was registered to a 50yr old male currently charged with a domestic assault and on conditions to keep from associating with a female victim. The officer determined the female was a guest at the hotel. A short time later the male was observed returning to the room after walking a dog. The male was arrested for failing to comply with his conditions and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
