At approximately 8:00am on April 11th Barrie Police responded to a Queen St address in regards to a family dispute. Police arrived on scene and found two adult males fighting. One of the males was attempting to stab the other with a large hunting knife. A 56 year old male was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous, uttering threats and breach of probation. He was held pending a bail hearing. His brother received minor injuries during the struggle.
