Monday, November 3, 2014 at 2:45a.m., Waterloo Regional Police Patrol officers attempted to stop a motor vehicle for traffic related offences. The driver refused to stop for police and a suspect apprehension pursuit was initiated. The pursuit was terminated for public safety issues. The vehicle was found abandoned a short distance later. With the assistance of the Guelph Police Service Canine Unit, a track was initiated and the driver was successfully taking into custody. A 20 year old London female is charged with Dangerous Operation of a Mototr Vehicle, Flight from Police, Failing to Remain and Driving without a licence.
