WINGHAM MAN CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED ON SNOWMOBILE
On Friday December 30th at 5:05 P.M. the Wingham Police Service was involved in a short pursuit in Wingham. A man was observed operating an older model snowmobile on town streets and when police attempted to stop him, he fled and initiated a pursuit. The man eventually stopped the snowmobile and ran off on foot.
Brandon Hull 27, years of age from Wingham, was arrested after a short foot pursuit with police. Hull was charged with one count of impaired operation of a motor vehicle, one count of operate a motor vehicle with blood alcohol exceeding 80 milligrams and one count of flight from Police. Hull will appear in Wingham court on February 16th 2012 to answer to the charges. Police would like to remind snow mobile operators that the same impaired driving laws apply to them and they could lose their license. Please drink responsibly.
