(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 22 year old male after police attempted to stop a motor vehicle.
On Saturday, July 18, 2015 at approximately 5:41 a.m., officers observed a motor vehicle that that had been involved in an incident located in Haldimand County, Ontario earlier in the evening.
Officers from OPP and Six Nations Police Service attempted to stop the vehicle however the driver of the motor vehicle entered a ditch after his car came into contact with the Six Nations Police vehicle.
The 22 year old male suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision and was taken into custody without incident.
Charged with the dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and breach of recognizance is 22-year-old Brandon COMEAU of Haldimand County, Ontario.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
