Bradley DEZELL – Impaired Care And Control

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) –Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called on September 12, 2016 at approximately 2:15 a.m. to attend King Edward Street in the County of Brant in response to a vehicle that had been stopped on partially on the roadway for several hours.

OPP officers attended the area and located the vehicle on King Edward Street near Bishposgate Road in the County of Brant. During the investigation officers determined that the driver of the 2007 white Toyota Tacoma was impaired by alcohol.

Police have charged 38-year-old Bradley DEZELL of the County of Brant with the following offences contrary to Criminal Code of Canada:

Care and Control of a motor vehicle while ability impaired by alcohol contrary to section 253 (1) (a).

Care and Control of a motor vehicle with blood alcohol over 80 mgs contrary to section 253 (1) (b).

He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to his charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
