(ELLIOT LAKE, ON)- On July 12, 2016, shortly after 11:00 p.m., the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance at a residence on Mississauga Avenue in the City of Elliot Lake.
Police observed an intoxicated male leaving the residence. During a subsequent search police located a small amount of cannabis marihuana.
As a result of the investigation, Brad SOUTHWIND, 21 years of age, from Elliot Lake, Ontario, was arrested and charged with:
Possession of Schedule II Substance-Cannabis Marihuana-Under 30 grams, contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
Fail to Comply with Probation Order (X2) contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot lake on September 6, 2016
