Bolt Cutters Used In Laundromat Theft – Suspects At Large

(WEST PERTH, ON) – The coin boxes at the Mitchell Speed Wash laundromat are being replaced after two male suspects attended there on the morning of January 20, 2018. At approximately 8:00 a.m., a black sedan entered the laundromat parking lot and two males exited the vehicle. The driver remained outside.

The passenger entered the laundromat, produced a pair of bolt cutters and cut the locks from coin boxes. An undisclosed amount of cash was removed and the suspects left the area.

Members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended and continue to investigate this incident.

The passenger is described as a Caucasian male, wearing a black North Face jacket over a blue hooded shirt, dark pants, and a New York Giants toque. The driver is also described as a Caucasian male wearing dark clothing, and a dark coloured ball cap.

Assistance is requested from the public to identify the suspects involved in this occurrence. Perth County residents are asked to view the photographs and contact police if either are recognized.
