Blue 2004 Ford F150 Stolen From Atwood – Plate 2043FA

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to the Atwood Café shortly before 10 a.m. on Wednesday January 06, 2016, where a customer reported the theft of his pickup truck.

The navy blue 2004 Ford F150 cab and a half pickup truck was removed from the main street in Atwood (Hwy 23), as it was parked in front of the restaurant sometime between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. The truck had been left unlocked with the keys inside the vehicle.

Additional description of the pickup truck:

Silver pin stripe down both sides of the vehicle

Blue fiberglass tonneau cover

Ontario licence plates 2043FA

Bug deflector on front

Step bar on both sides

At approximately 10:30 a.m. this stolen pickup truck arrived at the Petro Canada gas station on Main St. West in Listowel, driven by a male wearing a brown jacket, black pants and a black toque. The male who had his face covered, fuelled up the pickup truck and left without paying. The pickup truck was last observed travelling south bound on Mitchell Rd. South (Hwy 23). Officers patrolled for the vehicle with negative results.

“This incident exemplifies the fact that many of our residents still don’t to take the message of “locking their vehicles and pocketing the keys”, to heart. It also verifies what we say about the use of these stolen vehicles in the commission of other criminal offences. By leaving your vehicles insecure you may be a victim as well as your neighbour.” Staff Sergeant Joel Skelding, Perth County OPP

Please adhere to these vehicle protection tips;
