On Sunday, January 25, 2015 at approximately 7:35 pm, officers from Thunder Bay OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 11/17 and Highway 102 intersection.
Officers located and stopped the vehicle in question on Highway 102 near Mapleward Road.
Upon speaking with the driver of the vehicle, officers detected an odour of alcohol emitting from the drivers breath and the driver exhibited obvious signs of impairment.
Ben OLSON, 36 years of age, from Thunder Bay was arrested and charged with Refusing to Provide a Breath Sample and Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Criminal Code.
He is to appear in Provincial Court on March 27, 2015 to answer to the charge.
