(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at approximately 7:30 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a structure fire at the Bayview Motel located on Sykes St., N., Meaford, in the Municipality of Meaford.
The fire was contained to one end of the building which housed the office and living quarters of the motel’s proprietors and appeared to be electrical in nature and not deemed suspicious.
All occupants vacated the building without incident. There were no injuries reports.
The Meaford Fire Department was on scene.
