Barry Spencer – Drunk Driving

(City of Guelph, ON) – On Sunday August 25, 2013 at approximately 12:54am members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Highway 6 south bound at College Avenue in the City of Guelph. At this time and location officers observed a 2013 Toyota Camry speeding towards them as it entered into the check point. Upon speaking with the male driver it was obvious that he had been drinking. The driver was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.

Barry Spencer aged 30 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and Speeding contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on September 13, 2013 to answer to the charges.
