(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) The Perth County OPP with the assistance of the OPP Western Region Emergency Response Team and the OPP West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit were able to successfully negotiate with the barricaded male.
Shortly after 10 a.m. the male walked out of the residence without incident. The male, a 27 year old Township of Perth South resident was arrested for pointing a firearm. He was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he is being held for a bail hearing.
Embro Road was re-opened at 10:40 a.m.
The Perth County OPP is continuing to investigate the details of this incident.
