Bankrupt Council Attempt To Borrow $1,000,000 To Keep North Huron Functioning – Council Meeting 18Dec2017

Many have accused North Huron of being bankrupt, both morally and financially. North Huron has no reserves and simply can’t afford to keep going or maintain our infrastructure, as all money is gone in “consultant fees”, raises and bonuses for town staff.

At the 18Nov2017 council meeting they will be attempting to put North Huron another $1,000,000 in debt as they need $1,000,000 in emergency funding to keep operating in 2018.

From the Agenda Package

THAT the Council of the Township of North Huron hereby accepts the recommendation from the Director of Finance that a by-law be passed authorizing the borrowing of $1,000,000.00 to meet current expenditures in 2018 until taxes are collected and other revenues are received;

AND FURTHER THAT the Clerk be directed to prepare a by-law to be included on next regular council meeting agenda on January 15, 2018.
