(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON)- On Thursday December 5, 2013 at 2:09 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Southwest Middlesex Fire Department responded to an ATV collision on private property in the area of Hyndman Drive and Lethbridge Road, Southwest Middlesex.
Police have learned that a lone male party was operating an ATV with a group of friends when the vehicle rolled pinning the driver. The male was transported to a local area hospital where he later died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
Members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) Team have been requested to attend the scene and assist with the investigation.
The name of the deceased party is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
The investigation is on-going.
