Anyone that has attended the Wingham Community Market has probably
already met Dave Tophen who will be re-opening the MacIntyre Bakery
in Wingham. Homecomers are encouraged to attend the Market and
meet the man who is helping re-build our Community and putting fresh
bread on our tables. The MacIntyre Bakery is just one of many
things that have closed in Wingham over the last few decades, and it
is nice to see an area Entrepreneur take a chance on our Community
and re-open the bakery. Supporting our local economy has never
been so delicious:-) The positive ripple effects of Mr. Tophen
are already being felt, as his incredibly fresh baked goods draw
people out to the Wingham Market, helping other area Entrepreneurs
with the increased Market traffic, and making them more successful.
Sweet Corn Sells Out – Snooze You Lose!
At last Saturday’s Market just north of Wingham, sweet corn sold out
early despite the poor weather. If you want fresh baked goods
and the freshest produce around, arrive early.
