Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating an attempted break in at the Mennomex Store at 49919 Talbot Line, Township of Malahide sometime between 9:30pm on September 13th, 2014 and 12:45am on September 14th, 2014.
Entry was not gained, however one pane of glass was smashed in the front door.
Elgin County OPP Property Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate.
Police believe that this attempted break in to be linked to several break-ins in the Township of Malahide and Municipality of Bayham over the last few days.
