(Marmora, ON) – On May 13, 2015 at 3:35 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P received a complaint of an assault involving a firearm that occurred three days prior on Forsyth Street in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake. The victim reported he had been detained, threatened with death and assaulted by two men before escaping.
As a result of the investigation, on May 19, 2015 twenty-two year old Alexander WILKINS of Marmora, ON was arrested and charged with Forcible Confinement, Assault with a Weapon, Utter Threats to Cause Death, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Pointing a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm Knowing the Serial Number Has Been Tampered With and Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime. On May 20, 2015 WILKINS attended Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville for a bail hearing.
An arrest warrant exists for 22 year old Harley BLODGETT of Marmora, ON for Forcible Confinement, Assault with a Weapon and Utter Threats to Cause Death, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Theft.
