(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Thursday the 21st of August 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of an assault that occurred at a residence on Highway 62 north in the village of Maynooth. Investigation revealed that two adult males and two adult females attended a residence and physically assaulted an adult male and adult female with weapons. The incident occurred at the front of the residence, along Highway 62.
The victims sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
