(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On September 27, 2015, at approximately 8:07 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and the Thames Centre Fire Department, responded to a fire at a property in the 6800 block of Hamilton Road.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. on September 27, 2015, culprits attended a commercial property. Once on the property, they trespassed, and four pieces of equipment were set on fire.
Two pay loaders, a large fuel/water tanker, and a pickup truck, were destroyed as a result.
The fires were deemed suspicious, and the Fire Marshall’s Office (FMO) was notified. Due to a diesel leak, the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) was also notified.
The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit, with assistance from the OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), continues to investigate this incident.
