Arrests Made In Break & Enter To Area School

On July 8th, 2014, Peterborough County OPP investigated a Break & Enter to Chemong Public School located in the Village of Bridgenorth. As a result of the subsequent investigation, 4 parties including 2 Young Offenders were located and arrested in relation to this offence.

Charged is:

1) John MacDonald, age -19 years of Selwyn Township

2) Kurtis Strutt, age – 18 years of Selwyn Township

Both parties were charged with the following offences:

1) Sec 348(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada – “ Break & Enter”

2) Sec 334(b) Criminal Code of Canada – “Theft Under $5000”

3) Sec 430(4) Criminal Code of Canada – “Mischief Under $5000

The accused’s are scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Court on August 21st, 2014.
