(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – On October 24, 2014 Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Property Crimes Unit executed a warrant on Lisgar Avenue in Tillsonburg.
As a result of the Oxford County Property Crimes Unit investigation, two (2) males have been arrested.
20 year old Brandon KAUFMAN of Tillsonburg has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Break, Enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence
Theft Under $5,000 from a Motor Vehicle (5 counts)
Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)
Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana – under 30 grams ~ Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
The male was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice on a future date.
18 year old Dwayne WARD of Tillsonburg has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Break, Enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence
Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana – under 30 grams ~ Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on November 25, 2014.
A variety of property including electronics, bicycles, and personal items were recovered and police are working to return it to the owners.
