(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – During the month of March 2014, Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received several reports of damage to mail boxes and traffic signs within the Municipality of Trent Hills and Alnwick-Haldimand Township.
The damages appeared to have been caused by a firearm.
Northumberland OPP Street Response Team (SRT) entered into an investigation and as a result, arrested and charged two 19 year old men.
Joseph RANGER and Troy CLARKE, both of Trent Hills, are charged with the following offences:
– Mischief under $5000.00
– Careless use of Firearm
– Use Firearm While Committing Offence
Both males were released and are scheduled to appear on May 14, 2014 at 9:30am at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
