A 50 year old Barrie man is in custody this afternoon and will be spending the next 45 days in jail after officers executed a warrant of committal. In late 2012, the accused was convicted of driving while under suspension and the warrant was issued. In addition the accused is the subject of an outstanding warrant in the first instance for the offence of theft under $5,000.00 held by the Orillia Detachment of the OPP.
