(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged two persons for an armed robbery at a Cedar St. Dunnville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Sunday December 14th, 2014 at approximately 5:43 pm a lone male entered the Avondale Convenience Store on Cedar St and attended at the front counter where he spoke with the female attendant. An edged weapon was produced and cash was demanded. A quantity of Canadian currency was turned over to the male suspect along with a package of cigarettes who then fled the store.
As a result of the investigation 19 year old Clayton ETHIER of Hamilton, ON has been charged with Robbery with a weapon and 28 year old Melissa ANDERSON of Haldimand County, ON has been charged with Robbery. Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
