(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 18, 2015 at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were conducting RIDE spot checks on Lake Road near Wellington Road 32 in Puslinch Township.
Officers investigated the driver of a 2007 Subaru that entered into the checkpoint and immediately detected the strong, fresh odour of marihuana. The male driver surrendered a clear baggy of suspected bud marihuana.
27-year-old Brandon PACE of Cambridge has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 18, 2015 to answer to the charges.
