(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Saturday October 16, 2010 at approximately 6 p.m. an OPP Western Region Traffic Officer was operating police radar on Perth Line 43 east of Amulree. An eastbound pickup truck approached at a high rate of speed and was locked in on radar by the officer at 139 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
A 20 year old male from Ashfield Colborne Wawanosh Twp. was charged with racing. The male was served a 7 day drivers licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
