Anibal ALVARENGA – Drunk Driving

(CALEDON, ON) On Friday, October 18, 2013, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver in the area of Highway 10 and King Street. Officers located the suspect vehicle, a blue 2011 Ford Escape, parked in a nearby gas station. The officers approached the driver of the vehicle and determined that he had consumed alcohol. As a result of the officer’s findings, the male was arrested and later transported to Detachment for testing.

Once the investigation was concluded, Anibal ALVARENGA, 47, of Orangeville was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs.

The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on October 31, 2013.
