Angeline TONKIN – Drunk Driving & Collision

(LEAMINGTON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington was called to attend a motor vehicle collision involving a parked car on September 9, 2015 at approximately 9:50 p.m.

The crash occurred in front of 22 Erie Street North in Leamington and the suspect vehicle, a beige Chevrolet remained on scene for a short period of time and then fled.

Officers located the vehicle in question a short time and distance later. The female driver of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at that time.

Angeline TONKIN, age 69 of Lakeshore, was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content. She will appear in a Leamington courtroom on October 1, 2015 to answer to the charges.
