(KINGSVILLE, ON) – On October 30th, 2016 at 1:56 a.m. Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single motor vehicle collision at the intersection of North Talbot Road and Cameron Side Road in the Town of Kingsville, Ontario.
Police arrived to find a black Dodge pickup truck had gone through a stop sign and into a guardrail on the east side of the intersection. According to a witness at the scene the driver of the Dodge had fled on foot following the collision prior to police arrival.
A short time later police located the male hiding in the treeline near the scene.
Andrew SAMPLE, age 24 of Wheatley, Ontario has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Fail or Refuse To Provide Sample of Alcohol.
SAMPLE will appear in a Windsor, Ontario court on November 10, 2016.
