Amber Rose TOUTANT – Belligerent Drunk Driving

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Sunday, October 13, 2013 at approximately 11:00 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a disturbance at the Falls Inn located on Front Street West, Walter’s Falls, in the Township of Chatsworth, after a female guest at the Inn became belligerent with staff after she had been asked to leave a private function in which she was not invited.

While investigating the matter, police located the lone suspect sitting in the driver’s seat of a parked motor vehicle on Alma Street in the village. The driver had been drinking alcohol and an odour of marihuana was detected. She was arrested for impaired care and control of a motor vehicle and transported to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment for breath tests. The results of the tests indicated she had over 80 milligrams of alcohol in her system.

Amber Rose TOUTANT, 31 years, of Toronto, Ontario, was charged with impaired care and control of a motor vehicle and over 80 milligrams. She was also charged with possession of marihuana under 30 grams under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Her vehicle, a 2001 Pontiac SE1, was impounded for seven days.

She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, October 31, 2013.
