(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – The police investigation into a double homicide that took place last Thursday (March 29, 2018) on C Line Road southwest of Wroxeter has led to further criminal charges being laid against the accused.
In addition to the two first-degree murder charges, police have since charged 56-year-old Kevin CARTER from Wingham with Sexual Assault with a Weapon & Forcible Confinement.
The accused remains in custody with a video court appearance scheduled for April 18, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
This investigation remains active with members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) under the direction of Detective Inspector Randy Wright of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
A court imposed publication ban remains in place for this case.
