(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 23 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at a McDowell Road East, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, November 7, 2014, at approximately 8:08 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of McDowell Road East and Bills Corners Road, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 23 year old Gregory Allan RITCHIE of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences.
Impaired driving
Possession of Marihuana
Fail to comply with probation order X2
Speeding
Driver fail to surrender licence
Novice Driver – Blood Alcohol Concentration above zero
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
