(LAKE OF BAYS, ON) On Friday September 26, 2014 just after 10:00pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police attended a motor vehicle collision on Muskoka Rd #117 in Lake of Bays Township. The Ford Escape was located in the ditch at Old Highway #117.
Investigation found that the driver of the Ford had been drinking. As a result Alexander CAMPBELL (59yrs) of Calgary was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Car and Control of a motor vehicle with more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 5, 2014 to answer to his charges.
The driver was served with a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and had his vehicle impounded for a period of 7 days. He was not injured as a result of the collision.
