(Selwyn Township, ON) -Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 15 year old female missing from the Lakefield Road in Selwyn Township.
Officers were called to a Lakefield Road residence area on November 27, 2012 at approximately 7 p.m. after a report that a 15 year old female had not returned home after going to a local Tim Hortons Restaurant.
Alicia PEARSON, 15 years of Lakefield Road in Selwyn Township, was last seen at approximately 7:00 pm near the Bus Station on Simcoe Street in the City of Peterborough, at this time she had told a friend she was going to walk around town before returning home. Alicia never returned to her home and the police were contacted to assist in locating her.
Alicia is described as approximately 5’ 2†tall, and weighs approximately 115 lbs. with a thin build. She has shoulder length black hair, with bangs, and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with fur lined good and light grey yoga pants colourful skater shoes.
The OPP are continuing their efforts to locate the youth. With the temperatures well below zero forecast for the next day concerns for the missing youths safety are greatly increased.
The OPP are requesting the assistance of the public in locating this missing person and are asking that if anyone sees her or knows of her whereabouts to please call 1-705-742-0401 for the Peterborough County OPP or if an emegency‘911’ immediately.
