(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Friday, November 27, 2015, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an alarm call at a residence on the 4th Concession South in the Municipality of Meaford.
Upon arrival, police found that the culprits had forcibly entered the residence through a basement door which triggered an audible alarm. Surveillance video on the property showed three unknown persons, wearing black hoodies, fleeing the scene on foot.
The OPP Canine Unit assisted in the search for the suspects, who police believe left in a vehicle that had been parked nearby.
The investigation continues.
