(RED LAKE, ON) – On May 8, 2015, members of the Red Lake OPP Community Drug Action Team, in partnership with the Dryden Police Service conducted a Controlled Drug and Substances Act investigation on Highway 105 north of Vermillion Bay.
Police intercepted and seized a quantity of Cocaine and Marihuana from a vehicle. The drugs have a combined street value of approximately $2150.
Adrienne LANDERS, 48 years, of the Municipality of Red Lake, has been charged with:
Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine) contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Possession of a schedule 2 substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Possession of property obtained by crime – under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
LANDERS is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Red Lake on July 2, 2015.
