(Tweed, ON) – Central Hastings O.P.P has laid additional charges in relation to the investigation that followed the May 25, 2015 robbery of the Bank of Montreal in the Municipality of Tweed.
The investigation determined that on May 25, 2015 BEMBRIDGE stole a Dodge Cummins pickup truck as well as a firearm that was being stored in that vehicle, from Monaghan Road in the City of Peterborough. On May 26, 2015 when officers arrested BEMBRIDGE they found a quantity of drugs in his possession.
Investigators have further charged 31 year old Adam BEMBRIDGE of No Fixed Address with the following charges.
· Theft Over $5000
· Theft Under $5000
· Possession of a Firearm Contrary to a Prohibition Order
· Possession of Cocaine
· Three counts of Breach of Probation
He appeared in Ontario Court of Justice – Belleville for a bail hearing on June 1, 2015.
