(Tweed, ON) – On May 26, 2015 Central Hastings O.P.P Crime Unit charged a 31 year old Adam BEMBRIDGE of No Fixed Address in relation to the Bank of Montreal robbery that occurred one day prior in the Municipality of Tweed. The male was arrested at 4:40 p.m. in the City of Peterborough by members of Peterborough-Lakefield Police Service.
He charged with the following offences:
· Robbery With Violence
· Dangerous Operation of a Vehicle
· Flight While Pursued by Police Officer
· Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Over $5000
On May 27, 2015 Central Hastings O.P.P also arrested and charged BEMBRIDGE for an additional count of Robbery With Violence in relation to a May 21, 2015 incident that occurred at a Royal Bank of Canada on Brock Street South in the Town of Whitby. Investigators worked in partnership with members of Durham Regional Police Service.
BEMBRIDGE appears in Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville today for a bail hearing on all charges.
