(FOREST, ON) – On March 10, 2015 at about 11:30 a.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a motor vehicle collision that had occurred in the area of King Street, Forest Ontario.
Investigation revealed that an 86 year old male had been operating his motor vehicle on King Street within the Town of Forest, Ontario. During this time the elderly driver was unable to successfully control his vehicle which caused him to drive through the front window of a nearby convenience store. The investigation revealed that no traffic offences had occurred. The driver was not charged under the Highway Traffic Act. There were no injuries to the driver or to any convenience store employees or patrons.
