(Prince Edward County, ON)— On June 20, 2015 at 2:25pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment were called to a multi-vehicle collision on Loyalist Parkway at Stapleton Road, in the Ward of Hillier. A group of eight motorcycles were traveling eastbound on Loyalist Parkway when a westbound motor vehicle entered into oncoming traffic colliding head-on with three of the eight motorcycles.
The male driver of the westbound motor vehicle, 83-year old Lawrence HARPER of Brighton, ON was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries where he succumbed to his injuries on June 24, 2015.
The police investigation continues.
