(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) A Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer on general patrol made a major marihuana plant seizure and arrest on October 10, 2013 shortly after 4:00 a.m.
The OPP officer was patrolling the county roads when he spotted a vehicle backed into a wooded area along Wabauno road. The officer’s actions and the subsequent Lambton OPP Street Crime Unit investigation, has lead to the seizure of 38 kilograms (83 pounds) of Cannabis Marihuana from Lambton County with an estimated value of $20,000.
A 35 year old London man is in OPP custody awaiting a bail appearance in a Sarnia court.
The investigation is continuing.
