(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) Perth County OPP is investigating a bicycle, car collision which occurred on Monday July 19, 2010 at approximately 4:30 p.m. along Perth Road 107 south of Shakespeare.
A 15 year old Township of Perth East male was riding his bicycle south bound on the west side of Perth Road 107 when he was clipped by the mirror of a south bound vehicle driven by an 81 year old Tavistock resident. The impact resulted in the bicyclist being thrown to the ground. The bicyclist was immediately assisted by stopped motorists and was transported to Stratford General Hospital by his parents. The injuries sustained were none life threatening.
Police are continuing to investigate this collision.
