(LAKESHORE, ON) – On December 17, 2016 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Comber Side road near Highway 401 in Lakeshore, Ontario.
The collision involved a Jeep Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a Dodge van with one person suffering minor injuries being treated by Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
The driver of the Jeep SUV exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested by police.
Elie TYMEC (M), age 79 of Lakeshore, Ontario will appear in a Windsor Ontario court on January 12, 2017 to answer to charges of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Refusing to Provide a Breath Sample.
TYMEC’s drivers licence has been suspended and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days as per the regulations of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
