(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 27, 2015 at approximately 9:45 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a 2008 Lincoln and 2000 Toyota on Forestell Road near Side Road 10, Puslinch Township. During the investigation officers believed the male driver of the Lincoln was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Detachment for further testing.
The vehicle was towed and impounded for a period of seven days and his drivers’ licence was suspended for 90 days as per statute.
Lyle KRELLER age 76 of Guelph has been charged with;
Over 80-Criminal Code (C.C.)
Impaired Driving-C.C.
Fail to Yield to Traffic on a Through Highway-Highway Traffic Act
Drive a motor vehicle with an unsealed container of liquor-Liquor Licence Act
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 21, 2015 to answer to the charges.
